Aurora Camp Kurravaara - Kurravaara

Surrounded by forest, Aurora Camp Kurravaara is right by the Torne River, 13 km from Kiruna Airport. Facilities include a sauna and a furnished terrace. Limited WiFi is available and parking is free of charge.

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included.

Aurora Camp has a private jettyboat tours and canoeing or fishing trips depart during summer. Snowmobiling, husky dog safaris and snowshoeing can be arranged in winter. Depending on the season, you may experience the Midnight Sun or Northern Lights.

Other facilities offered at the property include ski equipment hire. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling and hiking.

Kiruna bus and train stations are located in central Kiruna, 12 km from Aurora Camp Kurravaara. There is no public transport to the camp, but transfers or taxi can be pre-booked.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

Riverside Cottage. This cottage features WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, oven, and stove. Includes a dining room, fireplace and dry toilet. A private wood-fire sauna is located outside Please note that the cottage has no running water. Drinking water will be provided by the staff. Shared shower facilities and parking are located 150 metres from the cottage. The pathway to the main camp can be snowy or muddy at times. As staff are not always on site, luggage assistance is generally not available. For those with mobility issues, it is possible to book luggage assistance - must be booked at least 48hrs in advance. Pets are allowed upon request. ;
Wilderness Suite - Left. This suite features a private entrance, small seating area, private bathroom and wood-fire sauna. The kitchenette includes a microwave, oven and stovetop. Dishes must be washed in the bathroom sink. Pets are allowed upon request. ;
Arctic Light Suite. This cabin features a private entrance, seating area, private sauna with shower, toilet and a large window with views of Torne River. The kitchenette includes a stovetop, a small oven and fridge. The reception and parking are located 50 metres from the suite and the pathway to the main camp can be snowy or muddy at times. Pets are allowed upon request. Please note that the double bed consists of two single beds pushed together. ;
Harmony Lodge. This lodge isover three separate houses; the main house features a bedroom, living room, fireplace, dry toilet and fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven and stove. The second house has three guest rooms,with separate entrances, and the third house features a wood-fire sauna and relax room. WiFi is available. Please note the lodge has no running water during the winter. Drinking water will be provided by the staff. Shared shower facilities (all year round) and parking are located 300 metres from the cottage. The pathway to the main camp can be snowy or muddy at times. Log Cabin. This log cabin is fully self-contained with a private bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests have access to shared camp facilities including a wood-fire sauna. Pets are allowed upon request. ;

Studio. This hut features glassed walls and ceiling for panoramic views, a surround-sound speaker system and free WiFi. A small composting toilet is available inside the hut and a shared water toilet and shower can be accessed in the main camp area. The hut is placed on ice November-May, and is placed on water May-October with a bridge connected to the shore. Pets are not allowed in this unit. ;
Studio. This hut features glassed walls and ceiling for panoramic views, a surround-sound speaker system and free WiFi. A small composting toilet is available inside the hut and a shared water toilet and shower can be accessed in the main camp area. The hut is placed on ice November-May, and is placed on water May-October with a bridge connected to the shore. Pets are not allowed in this unit. ;
Villa. This villas standout feature is the fireplace. Boasting a private entrance, this air-conditioned villa includes 1 living room, 5 separate bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a shower. The well-fitted kitchen has a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven. Among the room amenities are a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, a dining area as well as a patio and garden views. The unit has 9 beds. ;
Double Room. This double room features a shared bathroom, a terrace with garden views and winechampagne for guests. The unit offers 1 bed. ;
Tent. This is a small tent suspended in the air by trees in the forest. Rain cover, sleeping bags and pillows are provided. Hanging tent is not suitable for pets. There is access to a shared toilet and shower about 50 metres away in the main camp area. ;
